Shrimp Corn Chowder

1 stick butter
1 tsp minced garlic
1 bunch green onions
8oz cream cheese
1 can cream of shrimp
2 can cream of potato
1 can cream corn
1 can rotel
milk to thin (1 1/2 - 2 cups)
1-2 lb shrimp
